Yellow lines required

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:13, Mon 30 December 2019

Sent to Halton Borough Council 2 minutes later

This area along Wharford Lane requires yellow lines, especially on the approach to turnings onto Potton Close, Biggleswade Drive and Actons Wood Lane to stop people parking and and as a result restricting driver visibility in the process. It's only a matter of time before someone has an accident and/or a child is struck by a car. I raised this over 6 months ago and nothing has been done with it as yet.

  • Received a reply from HBC which stated it is the police who decide where yellow lines are painted! Doesn’t sound right to me. I’ve referred this on to establish whether or not that is correct.
