Pothole and large area of defective carriageway - now MUCH larger than the previously marked area. This is now down to the base course and is dangerous particularly to cyclist and motorcyclists!

  • There are two potholes on stjohns rd that should be fixed immediately they are a severe danger to cycles and motorbikes 1) just before the entrance to Springfield when heading north. I wondered how big the pothole was when my passenger side wheels hit it last week in the dark. Now I know, I am considering charging for my tacking to be fixed. It is deep and long and could easily cause a fatal incident, especially in the dark. 2) ther is another on the southbound side a bit further from Springfield but closer to the kerb. Yet again deep and long, it was masked today by the large puddle of water it contained. A danger to cyclists.
