2-3 inch deep pothole on southbound carriageway
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 10:10, Sun 29 December 2019
Sent to Leicestershire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1908390.
The northbound carriageway of the A6 heading to Kegworth from Hathern was flooded over due to heavy rain so all vehicles were avoiding this which meant passing onto the opposite side of the road. The pothole was also holding water so very difficult to see due to how wet the area was and the location is very dark plus trying to avoid the flooding and traffic in the carriageway you are going headlong into. There is no street lighting at this location and the time was approximately 7.30 so average traffic for Dec 24th. Unable to say how long this pothole has been there

After receiving an email from Leicestershire County Council on the 3rd Jan 2020 stating that they had repaired the pothole that caused my car to need £166 worth of alignment work to be done, this is the state of the repaired pothole on the 17th Jan 2020. Either the pothole was this badly repaired or it was done in such a manor that it has become easily damaged again this quickly. Ongoing issues with trying to make a claim through LCC as they have no way of claiming online and no information on how to do so otherwise. A 4t attempt phoning them as finally resulted in being told they will send me a claim form trough the post.
