Road Obstruction (adding double yellow lines &/or enforcement)

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 11:32, Thu 19 December 2019

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

About four or five years ago, people started parking directly opposite the exit of Dryden Crescent on Mobsbury Way, which in itself, is illegal (ie. within 10 metres of a junction) but the parking wardens don't (can't?) deal with it. It makes it very difficult, particularly for busses, to get by and for people exiting Dryden Crescent at its southern end. It's much worse at school end times and at night. The Mobsbury Way road surface has just been relaid (thanks for doing that) & the yellow lines from Drakes Drive could have been extended but weren't. The line painters need to come back to paint the School Zone outside Nobel School so could they be required to add double yellow lines here at the same time... the cost would be negligible but the improvement to traffic flow and safety would be huge. Thanks
