Streetlight is wobbly - ground hole round post is getting bigger; danger of falling?

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 12:47, Wed 18 December 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

The streetlight's "socket" hole is getting wiser, and the post is easily rockable by hand. Presumably lamppost could eventually fall over.

  • As far as I can tell, there has been nothing done to steady this lamp-post. It may be delayed because of the Christmas slow-down, but you might like to check with the contractor.

  • Two large potholes on the edge of the road adjacent to the exit from Manor Farm House, causing the edge o/f the road to crumble. Serious danger to cyclists at a point where Dustan Road narrows.

  • The pot holes have still not been marked. They are on the DUNSTAN Road entrance to Manor Farm House, opposite Lower Farm. Worst after the recent rain

  • Came off bike today trying to dodge a number of potholes on this road. Lucky not to be hit by a car. Dangerous for cyclists, and bad for car suspension when driving over.
