Unkept bin area at Park Court
Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 22:32, Mon 16 December 2019
Sent to Lewisham Borough Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1891784.
Park Court, at the entrance of Knighton Park Road coming from Sydenham road, has a permanently unkept bin area. The bins are almost always overflowing, they are never put back after collection and are generally neglected. It seems no one is responsible for them. Part of the problem is the bins provided for this block of flats are not adapted. Each flat ( there are 10, I think) has individual bins, for which there is hardly any space and they are not accessible due to bin overcrowding. This block should have the much more suitable large commercial style bins, similar to the similarly sized block of flats directly across the street (Fadil House). Also, someone should be held responsible for them as it is clear at the moment that no one attends to this bin area.

Still as bad as ever. Totally unkept bins- rubbish everywhere and overflowing. Bins left on the pavement for weeks on end.

This situation continues to be as bad as ever, if not worse. It’s an utter disgrace that this hasn’t yet been addressed permanently. One off cleaning is not a solution - a new bin area needs to be created out back with appropriate bins. Shame on the landlord/managing agents.
