Reported anonymously at 11:51, Mon 16 December 2019
Sent to Brighton and Hove City Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1890511.
Nothing at all has been done to resolve the issue. There are now FIVE broken wheelie bins with no lides. The bins oveflow and the waste is blown aroung the road. The bins are now being used for both recycling & household waste.

The level of service we are receiving is APPALLING. The recycling team can't empty the bins as it contains household bin waste and the bin operatives refuse to take it as it contains mixed recycling. The bins are only there for your operatives to use when they collect. To STOP this issue the bins need to be removed completely . This is now causing an environmental health issue as rats have been seen in the area.

The situation is getting worse every week. The bin & recycling teams have now started removing bags of household waste ripping them in the process and leaving it all dumped on the pavement. The level of service is appalling and not acceptable.
