Flooding in Pine road opposite numbers 100 to 104 Pine road resulting in the roda being virtually impassible for pedestrians as the flooding extends over the footpatths

Reported in the Other (non-highways) category anonymously at 23:44, Sat 14 December 2019

Sent to Eastleigh Borough Council and Hampshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1888615.

The flooding that is occuring in Pine road is a regular problem after heavy rain this is as a result of poor maintenance and the gullies and pipes being blocked by leaves There is also a culvert runs under the road opposite the cemetry and this must also be regularly blocked due to poor maintenance and must also be the responsibility of the EA why can the system not cope and why is the road always flooding ?

  • Flooding in Pine road again at the same location as previously reported the road and footpaths are almost impassible again This is an ongoing problem and instead of just sending a road sweeper to suck up the water the real problem with the drainage system here needs to be addressed by HCC ASAP . Shame on you HCC ! as this is a busy road and is used by school children and their parents everyday on the approach to Hiltingbury and Thorden Schools

  • There appears again to be flooding in Pine road at the same location as previously reported last year due to blocked drainage and gullies As this is an ongoing problem after heavy rainfall can someone in HCC or EBC send an engineer to look at the problem as this still not fixed and will lead to further flooding if not resolved
