Potholes 12 to 24 plus wide in numerous parts of Ashfield Road.

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 16:00, Sat 14 December 2019

Sent to Suffolk County Council 5 minutes later

These potholes constantly reappear in spite of poor temporary repairs. This is due to heavy lorries which use this unclassified road because, for no apparent reason, they are banned from the adjacent A1088 which is constantly resurfaced while Ashfield Road has not been for a considerable number of years!

  • The council reported back that, after an inspection, there was not a problem! I replied that I didn't believe they had inspected Ashfield Road and they have now agreed that there are potholes and they will be repaired within 20 days. We shall see.
