This road was replaced a few years ago and I assume to great expense. I reported the matter at the time and have heard nothing back. The local parish council have also contacted you and they were informed that the road would be under a guarantee and you would monitor the road. Before the road was replaced the was over 80 pot holes in it, I counted the as I cycle that road. Since it has been resurfaced we now get approx 40 pools of water on it. The problem is that coming from Lea Marston over the railway bridge any surface water running the hill runs behind the drains as the are about 4” from the kerb. Most of the drains sit proud of the road surface. Every driveway entrance floods as the sunken kerbs are to low. Some of these pools of water are nearly 30 foot long. Further to this when the flood defences were put in along the Birmingham Road KSD who delivered the sand when there vehicles past each other they were to wide for the road and had to drive on the newly laid tarmac path which they destroyed. We the village were informed that the path would be replaced and it has not. Like my last email regarding the above subject was ignored and never replied to, this I have taken copies and will forward them on to the parish council because we are all fed up of the flooding ever time it rains.
