Parking on double yellow lines and pavement outside school

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 16:43, Thu 12 December 2019

Sent to Leeds City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1885816.

Parents are parking their cars on double yellow lines and on the grass verge on Landseer Crescent, outside Hollybush School, in the mornings from 9.50am and the evenings at 3.20pm. Landseer Crescent is a curved road and it is impossible to see children crossing the road when cars are parked on the double yellow lines.

  • Parents are still parking on the double yellow lines and taking their children into school. Every school morning from 8.55am and every school afternoon from 3.25. All vehicles park on the left side of the street, looking uo from Outgang Lane, so all the grass verge on the right hand side is now a mud bath as cars drive on it. If somone could take the trouble to visit at the times mentioned, they will see the issue of the parking on the blind bend where cars coming down Landseer Crescent force the cars coming up to reverse into where the children cross.
