Incorrect sequencing

Reported via Android in the Traffic lights category by Jonathan Stanton at 20:51, Wed 11 December 2019

Sent to Argyll and Bute Council 4 minutes later

Over the past few months, these traffic lights have started turning red on approaching traffic and holding red for their full sequence when there are no other cars using the junction, in the middle of the night as well as during the day. Not only is this providing unnecessary pollution, but this could also tempt drivers to ignore the red light as they believe its faulty, or through sheer frustration. To this end, I believe this is a safety issue. As I say, this is a fairly recent development for this set of traffic lights at the junction of Sinclair Street & West Montrose Street.
