Water still coming up from under road surface

Reported in the Roads/Highways category anonymously at 17:14, Tue 10 December 2019

Sent to Lewisham Borough Council less than a minute later

Reported over 3 weeks ago - water coming up from road surface by pedestrian lights. Not only is this a waste of a precious resource, but one can only imagine the traffic 'carnage' if/when the road collapses because of underlying water eroding the road's substrate! This really needs fixing - now! .. before it gets icy and accidents start happening when the water running all the way down to the junction at the main lights, freezes... not very cycle friendly.

  • Fixed over the New Year holiday took them 1 day - I wonder how many thousands of gallons of fresh drinking water has been wasted in the month since the leak was first noted ans reported (several times) by Forest Hillions? :(
