Gogges Christmas event
Reported via iOS in the Car parking category anonymously at 12:26, Sun 8 December 2019
Sent to West Oxfordshire District Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1879264.
Hello, can someone at cogges farm, when they are planning an event, think of their neighbors, They have a sign at the entrance to the site about where to park, but by then people are already parking all up the lane making leaving and entering meadow view very dangerous let alone if an emergency vehicle should be needed.

People park along here and then walk in to the town shops rather than drive & queue all round through Bridge Street: what would be your practical solution to stop all of this please ?

Hello, I realise and understand that people park in church lane rather than use bridge street. But if we had better signage on newland to direct traffic visiting gogges, where to park, because at the moment they see a park sign and disabled parking as the same place. Also If we had road markings either Side of the entrance to meadow view it would be a lot safer, ( people park right on the corners)

As previously mentioned, we wait and see when Easter events happen, There has been no improvement on the sign’s or any road markings.

Gogges farm has just reopened, so we wait and see if signage and parking has improved.

If this update is today, the photos don't seem to show the drenching rain from Storm Alex. ? Also some of the same vehicles are being shown in precisely the same position. ARE they definitely visitors to Gogges? Could be it's just the " annoying general driver-problem " like in many other places around Witney ?
