  • Unfortunately this problem has not been solved. Several days ago a large street sweeper drove up and down the road once but this had very little effect. This morning before it got light, workers were scraping the road surface manually and cleared some leaf mulch from gutters but left before the job was properly completed. Whilst it is a challenge to clean under parked cars the two most recent pictures just taken (attached) clearly show the area between parked cars has not been swept at all. The road and pavements in Alexandra Road (especially the Lennard Road end adjacent to the large trees) still require cleaning. Please could you sort this out and check it before signing the job off. Thank you.

  • No, I am afraid that is simply inaccurate. The area between parked vehicles remains unswept. (Pictures just taken attached). I am sorry, but the road, especially at the Lennard Road end, is in a shocking state and plainly still needs cleaning. I first reported this over 2 weeks and the problem remains in need of attention. Thank you.

  • Hello. Once again your contractor has had a go at clearing the roadside gutters but still nothing has been done about sweeping the actual road. I attach relevant pictures taken today. It is now a month since I first reported this problem and I would be grateful if the appropriate remedial work could be carried out. Thank you.
