Heavy flooding on bend.
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 09:42, Wed 4 December 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 360593.
Road heavily flooded for weeks now - with nothing but a couple of poorly placed signs to warn drivers. Traffic has to regularly use the wrong side of the road to find the shallowest part, causing a hazard to oncoming traffic, especially being on a corner.

Couldn't get through here last night due to an accident involving a HGV, water from the flooding that had been dragged up the hill had frozen and made the road an ice rink - Police were in attendance. Also not a single part of the b1225 from Horncastle to Caistor had been gritted by 4am.

We are taking appropriate enforcement action. The enforcement process can sometimes take a long time to complete. Although you may not see any site changes quickly work will still be taking place behind the scenes. Thank you for your patience while this work takes place.
State changed to: No further action
