Sent to Hampshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1869892.

On Saint George’s Street Winchester the road surface has subsided causing a serious danger to cyclists and motorcycles. This has previously been reported and a shovel full of tarmac was shoved in the hole without fixing then underlying cause as a result this has continued to get worse which will no doubt cause a nasty accident and injurys if not rectified

Updates

  • The road surface damage is far worse than indicated in the photo and almost spreads the width of a car chassis. Depth is in excess of a tennis ball and is dangerous to road users.
