Water unable to flow to drain
Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category by Beryl Pratt at 11:42, Tue 26 November 2019
Sent to Bromley Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1862665.
This kerbside part of the road/driveway leading into the new Denvale Trading Estate has been made with insufficient slope to allow the water to run into the adjacent drain in the main roadway. The puddle is too large to step over. This occurred as soon as it was completed, so it is not the just the leaves blocking the exit of the water. Mud will be accumulating and so it will be a slipping/ice hazard even after the rainy weather. One can detour onto the grass but that is also muddy and slippery in wet weather and one can only go in the road to get round.

Ponding still occurring. Some weeks ago some digging took place here, with deep hole on the grass area but does not appear to have been connected with this problem, as nothing has changed, the road level at this corner is the same i.e. somewhat below drain level.
