Surface damage & subsidance + verge damage

Reported in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 14:55, Mon 25 November 2019

Sent to Mid Suffolk District Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1861388.

This small side road, part of Golden Square, has a high central ridge caused by heavy vehicles making the edges subside. Previously caused by Refuse collection but recently damage is much worse because of work carried out moving many loads of earth in heavy trucks from a development at the top of the road. Damage seems to show that the road is merely a dirt track with a skim of tarmac. The central ridge is now so high that vehicles have eaten away the grass verge avoiding it. Much damage has also been cause to the corner verge outside Farriers and the small grass triangle where the road joins the B1116. The road was already had the ridge shaved off and patched with tarmac twice. What is required is for the whole road to be consolidated at the sides in order to bear the sort of loads imposed by the dust carts and other heavy vehicles. Also the corner outside Farriers and the grass triangle need to be protected with kerbs
