Cars are using footpath to access properties by Hillside Cottage causing a safety issue as well as damage to the path and drains

Cars are using the footpath to access properties by Hillside Cottage causing damage to the footpath and drains. I noticed the damage has already been reported but no mention was made of the cause ie cars using the path. Gravel has also been laid next to the path for the vehicle(s) to drive on. More importantly this is a safety issue as when the vehicle(s) travel to the properties they are travelling in the opposite direction to traffic on the main road and to the nearside of that traffic. This is confusing in the dark especially for traffic not used to the road layout - headlights seemingly coming towards them could cause an accident.
