The reported issue requires the footway to be excavated to allow for tree root trimming before being reinstated, these works will now be co-ordinated between our Highways and Tree Teams.

The issues with this tree are both the large roots causing wall damage and an unsafe pavement as well as the tree itself being too large and a potential risk to houses and vehicles if it falls. Thank you for cutting back the roots. The size of the tree also needs a significant reduction. Please can this also be done.
