Tree not been reduced in over 10 years

Tree outside 4-6 Murray avenue recently been slightly pruned but did not address issue. Tree needs massive reduction- not been done in over 10 years. Also roots lifting pavement and making cracks in wall.

  • The tree has become over grown and now overhangs the road and properties.

  • The reported issue requires the footway to be excavated to allow for tree root trimming before being reinstated, these works will now be co-ordinated between our Highways and Tree Teams.

  • The issues with this tree are both the large roots causing wall damage and an unsafe pavement as well as the tree itself being too large and a potential risk to houses and vehicles if it falls. Thank you for cutting back the roots. The size of the tree also needs a significant reduction. Please can this also be done.
