Cars parked illegally on double yellows - obstructing traffic and buses!

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 12:41, Wed 20 November 2019

Sent to Coventry City Council 4 minutes later

Cars/taxis/vans parked on double yellows every single day all throughout the day outside Boots/Chicken fastfood place/general homewares shop opp Broad St Jetty where the Police Station is - these get in the way of pedestrians walking on the very narrow pavements and also get in the way of buses and other cars! Cars often park there to drop off/pick up youngsters attending Mosque school in the top floor of the buildings there - can they please be moved on/told to park legally elsewhere? I observed a man reverse into a lady and her child on the corner here and then when she shouted at him to watch it he got out his car and intimidatingly shouted back despite being the one in the wrong! Team of traffic wardens should be employed and should be patrolling both Stoney Stanton Road and Foleshill Road simulatenously! Councillor Abdul Khan, what are you doing?! Stop allowing this behaviour - get on with the job please!

  • Council is ignoring this as per usual : ( Thank you for all you do for the pedestrians, we really appreciate not being able to walk on pavements. Forget people in mobility scooters, with children, prams, shopping trolleys. It's just wonderful having to constantly walk around/inbetween/alongside cars and other vehicles parked all over the places people are meant to be safe to walk on.
