Bus stop on Rectory Rd, outside River Grove Park - this bin is constantly being flytipped with domestic rubbish

Sent to Bromley Council 4 minutes later

Bus stop on Rectory Rd, outside River Grove Park - this bin is constantly being flytipped with domestic rubbish. Particularly on Friday and Monday mornings, between 7 and 9am, people walking towards the War Memorial drop of large sacks of domestic rubbish. It should be treated as flytipping, not littering. Perhaps a warning notice on the bin that anyone putting domestic refuse could be fined?

  • I passed this bin this morning (Sunday 17 November). It is now worse than that described in above report made on 15 November and now rubbish is scattered across the pavement - presumably birds or foxes have attacked the plastic bags. The rubbish bin across the road by the bus stop close to Vicarage Drive is also overflowing. This is a regular occurrence and makes the approach to Beckenham look very shabby.

  • The dumping seemed to stop after the warning notice was put on the dumped rubbish recently. Unfortunately it was only a pause. The black sack in 1st photo blocked the bin on Saturday 29th Nov, the rubbish around the bin was tipped on Sunday 30th. Please try putting the warning notice on again.
