Blocked drain. this grid takes all the surface water flowing eastwards down ilmington road and also all the surface and field water from the east. there is also a culvert on the corner of ilmington rd and armscote road which blocks regularly. the problem is that with blocked grids, a lake of water forms outside my outbuilding and there is some ingress of water into my studio/office. if i'm on site i can unblock the grids myself but as the latest ingress happened overnight, there is water in my studio.

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later
THE CAMBER OF THE ROAD GUIDES THE WATER AWAY FROM ONE GRID WHICH STANDS PROUD OF THE TARMAC SURFACE AND IS THEREFORE NEXT TO USELESS IN TAKING WATER AWAY. ANOTHER GRID WHICH IS SOMEWHERE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ROAD IS NOT VISIBLE (ie AND TAKES NO WATER) - OVERGROWN VERGE. IT'S UNSATISFACTORY THAT I HAVE TO TEND TO THESE GRIDS TO KEEP WATER FREE FLOWING. IT'S TIME TO ASK YOU FOR A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO AN ISSUE THAT'S BEEN ONGOING FOR 30 YEARS......

The problem outlined above in november 2019 continues. you have done nothing over the last year and a further ingress of water in my outbuilding was experienced last week (23 dec). please contact me asap to discuss this matter which i would much prefer to settle amicably.
