Sent to Merton Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1846647.
Weekly, the Love Lane entrance to the footpath at this location is targeted by flytippers and typically 1-2 shopping trolleys or 6-8 black bin bags containing old furniture, building waste and household waste is simply discarded here. Sometimes more and sometimes less, but I have never seen less than one shopping trolley and sometimes more than 12-14 bags/containers full of waste of various kinds.
This has been going on for months. Every 2-4 weeks it is cleaned up by the council but the footpath in the interim is difficult and unpleasant to access or egress. This is public land and
The council needs to take this seriously and consider involving the police in enforcement action; CCTV on the (council owned) footpath would certainly help to deter and catch these persistent criminals.

I think there are actually two problems here. One is flytipping at the entrance, another is local residents opportunistically dumping. I think I have seen one recently, they should be caught and punished for this behaviour.
The council has cleaned this area but there is not cooperation with the police to catch and punish offenders. Without this the crime will keep happening.
