X3 street lights out in Hensington Rd.
Reported in the Street lighting category by Hilary Brown at 08:37, Wed 13 November 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1843861.
Too dark for seeing trip hazards, etc. Winter is here and this is a walk to and from school when sometimes dark.
Council ref: 1843861

Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

Posts 9, 10 and 12. Very peculiar. When I reported on 13th there were 3 lights out on the Tuesday evening 12th November (between 7:15 and 10:15 pm - this is when I walked past).
Next time I walked up to get the numbers only 2 were out (as 12 was on) and while walking past it flickered and went out. On the 20th Nov, I walked to into the centre and only 1 light was out (post no 9). Make of that what you can. Best wishes, Hilary

Ref:00362941 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you
