Drains blocked with leaves

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 17:39, Tue 12 November 2019

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1843375.

As advised months ago, drains are BLOCKED with leaves & pine needles.

Got soaked at BUS STOP as rain not draining from road surface into drain, instead POOLING on road surface so when lorry goes past get absolutely soaked. SORT THIS OUT or I sue!

Updates

  • Leaves yet to be cleared so sad that council allowing drains to slowly block, meaning surface water poses a skid risk to traffic & pedestrians on the footpath get soaked by slow draining road!
