Unlit traffic/pedestrian sign problem
Reported in the Traffic sign category anonymously at 15:27, Tue 12 November 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Peterborough City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1843139.
Could you please display better cycle lane signs on Town Bridge. Pedestrians are walking in the cycle lane sections and not in the pedestrians sections. The 3 painted signs on the footpath is not enough. Also notification needed on the un-segregated section that goes over the river.

We are looking into the signage and any additional signage will be considered once the site has been assessed.

Peterborough City Council have reviewed the issue and it is not deemed to be unsafe at present. The current signage is correct and although we can direct people to where they should be generally people will follow the desired line. This is where a person see's a shorter route and regardless of instruction takes there own route. There is nothing we can do regarding peoples desire line.
State changed to: No further action
