Parking opposite dropped kerb

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 21:48, Mon 11 November 2019

Sent to Leicestershire County Council and Melton Borough Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1842055.

Cars are always parking opposite the dropped kerbs for access to 84 tamar roads driveway and number 2 blyth dropped kerb. This happens mainly in the evenings. This causes issues as emergency access for ambulance stretcher could be required at any hour of the day.

Hoping a solution can be found.

The occupants from number 7 blyth avenue have issues if someone parks infront of their property. But as has been mentioned to them their allocated parking is to the rear in the carparking area close to the railway, with access gates to rear of property leading from the carpark.

It would be ideal if there was a no stopping introduced along blyth avenue from no1 along to to the corner of where blythe avenue turns to culdesac.

This road is also a regular bus route and the parking has caused issues before due to no.7 having come home and double parked opposite a visting car to another resident in the area.
