People now using unofficial layby as a toilet

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Christopher Peacher at 11:57, Tue 5 November 2019

Sent to Norfolk County Council 4 minutes later

I have cleared rubbish from this unofficial layby for over a year, I have had to call you at least twice as there was to much rubbish for me to clear. I have now taken 4 plastic bags of human excrement from here over the last couple of weeks, and I am saying this is now a public health issue. I mentioned this to the operatives who were cutting the verges and footpath, so they did not stand in it, or cut the bags open with their strimmers., Please close this unofficial layby down before it gets worse.

Updates

  • When all are aware of the damage we are doing to our planet, the council's can't even be bothered to reply to an email. I believe that when the ones who are in charge do nothing, they are as bad as the perpetrators .

  • This shows the council are all talk about helping the environment, I have yet to have a reply to my email sent on 5th November, this shows how little they care about anything that really matters. I have since I reported this problem, removed another 2 bags of excrement from the same site.

  • I involved our local councilor which at least got me a phone call from the council, but all she was doing was a PR relationship and even at the start I knew nothing was going to change. they tried to make out they were concerned for my safety, but not for the preservation of the planet. I can't understand why people can't see the bigger picture.
