Surfacing of footpath on east side of B1077 in poor condition. After rain there are many puddles, some of which extend accross whole width of path. In places the sub-base is exposed and you can scrape it away wth your foot.

Residents tell me that they have been complaining about the condition of this path for many years. Poorly executed patch repairs have made it worse because these are proud of adjoining work causing uneven surface which is a danger to children using scooters or small bikes. The puddles are also a danger because they make some people want to cross the very busy road and are a hazard in freezing conditions.

  • This problem has been a concern of local residents for many, many years and some have complained without result. This section of footpath is a total disgrace, dangerous and for no apparent reason apart from incompetence and procrastination.
