Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 10:40, Mon 4 November 2019
Sent to Lancashire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1830686.
These deep and dangerous potholes have been reported many times by residents for over seven years. They are part of a designated cycle route used by cyclists, pedestrians, Lytham St Annes High School pupils and people in mobility vehicles.Lancashire County Council promised followup on this last spring and it was never received. As winter weather arrives the road will .deteriorate more and an accident is very likely.

I have spoken to Lancashire County Council Highways Dept. but am still awaiting a response on any action. Meanwhile the road is deteriorating badly and being avoided by many cyclists particularly High School pupils, who are using Church Road instead,a very congested highway, at peak times. The Cycle Track is for the benefit of such pupils so it is essential that this problem is fixed as soon as possible.

The potholes are getting wider and deeper. No action has been taken to fix them. As a result of the poor road surface the cycle track is now very underused.

The potholes are getting deeper and wider. It is dangerous for anyone accessing the cycle track between Beauclerk Road and the junction of Worsley Road. We want a solution to this problem, but unfortunately we are being ignored. So far our counsellors, our MP and LCC Highways Department seem to have stalled on this issue. We need this issue resolving before there is a serious accident.
