Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 21:32, Tuesday 29 October 2019

Sent to Norfolk County Council 2 minutes later

Highbridge Road, between Barroway Drove and Stow Bridge, near bridge over drain.

Bare wires hanging from pole. In windy conditions these wires blow into the path of traffic. See photos.

Updates

  • Total disinterest from NCC. They suggested I contact 'The service provider'. I asked if they meant BT, to which they replied they did. I said I am not a BT customer and have no contact details but I am sure that a county council highways dept would. They said they do not! I asked how it is that they can get BT to repair failed manhole covers etc, and they did not reply. They did though, manage, eventually, to get someone to wrap some gaffer tape around the loose wire. They have now been left like that. Great service NCC!.

Marked as fixed, since these loose wires are no longer able to strike passers-by.

To the rest of the world. This is what life in Britain is like every day.... utter rubbish!

    State changed to: Fixed
