Poor road repair has emptied to create pothole
Reported in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 07:31, Tue 29 October 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to National Highways 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1823183.
A recent road repair required a trench be dug across the roundabout. The filling in of this trench was done so poorly that a section of the repair has completely emptied in the bad weather, creating a pot hole 16 inches across, 3 feet wide and currently 4 inches deep (getting worse by the day).

I exited the A34 heading towards Milton Park. I hit the pothole just before going under the A34. Its very deep and wide. During rush hour its impossible to avoid when you have traffic either side of you.

I also hit this on Saturday afternoon; it was filled with rainwater and very difficult to avoid. Thanksfully no obvious damage to my vehicle.

I would like to know who to put my claim.into as the new tyre was £140 fitted and I have a quote from VW for the wheel of £965.70 could anyone supply a email address etc of who I need to contact. the picture with the fingers is a policeman that came along they said they would also report this to the Highways department. Hello, I hit this trench on Monday 4th November puncturing 2 tyres, I reported it to Oxfordshire Council, who told me that it was not their responsibility and shared your link, so I gather you are the department I send my claim of £169.75 for the cost of the 2 new tyres I had buy after the RAC recovered me from the side of the A34 after I hit the trench.
