Falling leaves
Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 14:20, Mon 28 October 2019
Sent to Leeds City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1822400.
Mum is disabled and also has dementia. The only income she has is pension. But yet every year she has to pay for her guttering to be cleaned and unblocked due to the very large tree in front of her house. This is on council property and therefore should be the responsibility of the council to clear the leaves from the guttering. Last year the cost was quite expensive as the drain pipe also became blocked.

This is just an example of what we have to collect from Mums garden every day. The guttering is full already but not worth spending money as yet until all leaves have shed from the tree. Considering mum is disabled. Walks with a frame and has to be supported when these leaves are wet they are dangerous. Council you either clean your own mess from the garden and guttering or remove the tree as it is a hazard at this time of year.

Not only has this not been fixed but no reply as to what is being done. Even the road have not been swept and considering how many trees there are the paths and kerbs are covered near mum house. Does Leeds city council really care for elderly? Not by this example...
