Pot hole uncovering wires/cables for speed camera

This has got worse been like this for months now. Are exposed cables a danger? Does the camera actually work ? The speed at which cars ect go I think perhaps not. Do need a couple that aren’t near traffic lights on this stretch, from Southwick Street junction to Kingston lane
