Please see the attached pic of the damage to the traffic island at this location. This location is a dangerous junction without damage to the traffic island which it meant to assist road users. This has been like this for months, when is this going to be repaired.

An order is with our contractors to replace the equipment on this island. We are sorry we are not aware of an exact date for attendance at this time. We have asked them to make the island safe and confrim a date for these works.

This does need immediate action as if travelling from Bath to Radstock this island isn’t light and is not visible to road users especially at night

A motorist has hit this traffic island and the cones / signage has been knocked over, this really isn’t good enough to have been left for so long in this dangerous state

This still hasn’t been fix despite being told the order had been placed with your contractors back in Oct 2019, 3 months ago. Can you Please update me as to when your contractors are scheduled to complete the work?

We've looked into this report and are investigating the issue. We have also followed up on the repair with our current contractors.

Our contractors have instructions to replace this equipment and intend to carry out the work soon. They are currently waiting on delivery of the parts needed but we hope will be attending in the near future. We apologise for the delay.
