Open gully no grillage and is a hazard to pedestrians

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later
There is an open large gully, with a downward sloping surface with its opening, measuring 300mm x 750 mm, leading to a large underground storm water culvert at the north side verge to Highfield Lane at the eastern end of the lane. This opening has no protective grillage to prevent a person slipping into the culvert. A child or animal could easily fall down into the culvert and be swept away and drowned.
Thank you for your report, it will be reviewed by the appropriate team.
