Fast growing pothole in middle of road - ground water emerging

There was a small pothole all summer that waterboard investigated as a potential water leak - they left a cone at side of road saying that the water emerging from potole was ground water. in last 10 days this has grown from ~20 cm and 5cm deep to 60cm long 25cm wide and 10 cm deep and is growing quicky as wheels can now drop into it.
