Spring water running permanently onto our driveway since the road was resurfaced

Reported in the Flooding or standing water on road category anonymously at 17:51, Fri 11 October 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later

The water starts at Freshfield Penn Lane and runs down the road. There are no drainage grids on our side of the road to allow the water to drain freely.Since the road was resurfaced so poorly (2018) there has been a build up of excessive asphalt/grit right on the edge of our driveway which diverts the water onto our driveway washing debris etc onto the drive also. I am particularly concerned regarding the constant surface water on the drive when the weather turns icy which is dangerous and potentially will damage and lift the block paving.

  • There is a stream running across our driveway... it is a constant flow of water bringing muck & debris onto our drive. It will become dangerous in cold weather, please acknowledge this & confirm action is being taken.
