Because an HGV continually parks with 2 wheels on the pavement, the survace outside 41 & 43 Oak Close has subsided and the surface is now dangerous. There is a deep puddle every time it rains and despite me speaking to the lorry driver, the problem continues.

Sent to West Sussex County Council 3 minutes later

The pavement surface is now not safe and the situation is being exacerbated by an HGV that makes regular, local deliveries and insists on parking with 2 wheels on the pavement.

  • The MSDC pavement repair team arrived within weeks of my contacting the council. They made a quick, but thorough repair to the damaged area. Unfortunately the delivery lorry continues to regularly drive up onto the affected area so there is a risk of further damage occurring.
