Obstruction of Reverend Close and parking across the crossover
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 14:09, Sun 6 October 2019
Sent to Harrow Borough Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1794406.
Observed between 09:40 and 09:44, Saturday, 5/10/2019, In Parking Control Zone "M". Driver dropping-off church attendee, parked, driver-on-board, engine-off, obstructing traffic flow to and from Reverend Close. During the observation, this driver moved the vehicle foward, possibly with a view to taking over the space occupied by the Black Volvo (Which was illegally parked on yellow lines)(Rightmost photograph), thereby blocking the route for pedestrian traffic in Corbins Lane across the Reverend Close cross-over/junction. When the Black Volvo moved-off, the silver Audi moved into the position it occupied in Corbins Lane - See Photographs in the update to this report. Apart from causing a problem for traffic flow and being a violation of road traffic law on at least two counts, the one redeeming feature is that the event shows that at least orderly queuing is in operation.

Observed between 09:44 and 09:50, Saturday, 5/10/2019, in Parking Control Zone "M". Silver Audi, that had previously been obstructing Reverend Close, moved foward to park on the double yellow lines on the corner of the junction of Reverend Close and Corbins Lane. It was noted that the off-road Church car park had plenty of space available for car parking at this time. So, the driver chose to park illegally, inconveniencing other residents of and visitors to Corbins Lane and Reverend Close. Its is further noted, that there was no sign of a Parking Civil Enforcement Officer, as promised three weeks ago.
