Broken and sunken paving

Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 08:09, Friday 4 October 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council 3 minutes later

Because this part of the road is on a corner outside 53/55 some large vehicles pull over and drive along the path to keep clear of the road . It also has buses stop here and delivery vehicles pull up here . When they leave they drive along as there are two slopes quite close together. The paving has broken and sunk slightly allowing a lip to be higher than the paving. In my opinion I think this bit needs to be tarmac rather than paving which would solve the issue of a person tripping up .

  • These pavings slabs have just been replaced ,and as you can see they have cracks in them already. Probably from being laid or the sub base is not suitable. Can this be tarmac instead as I don’t think these will last. Wasting council tax money .

  • This is reporting that it has been fixed but as you can see there are cracked pavings already and a big piece missing with just sand in it . So not repaired properly. This require attention. Before they crack further .
