Blocked drain causes water pressure to open up the pothole , it’s no use filling with aggregate , it needs the blockage clearing

Reported in the Gully or manhole defect category by Tim stokes at 16:52, Wednesday 2 October 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later

It has been filled several times but the underlying cause of the pothole hasn’t been fixed. so it keeps returning and damaging car wheels , and is a terrible danger to cyclists Please can you fix the blocked drain that causes the high water pressure to make the pothole

  • I’m very impressed with the speed of response and it’s made the road safe BUT It hasn’t fixed the cause which is most likely a blocked drainage system causing water pressure to damage the road lifting the tarmac and risking a sink hole Please see video
