Flood Water st Jewels Holl, Biggin Hill

In times of heavy rain the road floods partly because the drains are blocked by debris coming down Saltbox Hill and Jewels Hill. The drains need to be cleared regularly.

  • The flooding at the bottom of Jewels Hill and Saltbox Hill has always been a problem. After spending X thousand pounds to help with the problem only to be beaten by dirty and blocked drains?????

  • For information, the order for this repair remains outstanding within our contractor's planned schedule of work. Further arrangements are currently being undertaken to provide traffic management and/or the necessary specialist equipment in order to undertake the works.
