Rubbish and overgrown weeds

Reported in the Flytipping category anonymously at 09:49, Wed 2 October 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1789305.

Along Abbott Road, outside the shops/flats, and in the alleyway it's full of litter, broken bottles, old food. The photos attached really do not show the extent of the problem and can share more. There is a table top been left in the middle of the path. There are overgrown weeds in the curbside and along the alleyway which means the litter is getting caught up. The road is an eyesore and health and environment hazard. It's putting children in danger who come along this road to get to the local schools, if one was to fall onto the broken glass.... not to mention the more elderly people who cut through the alleyway from the retirement home and access the road to get to the shops. This is an ongoing issue and whilst we try to do our bit it needs ongoing support from the council to keep on top of it. With it being a busy throughway for people accessing shops and schools there will always be an issue and regular clean up needed. The weeds need keeping on top of, the litter picked up or a road sweeper put round. It's as if our road has been forgotten about.
