Overgrown trees outside our fence

Reported in the Trees/Hedges Overhanging Roads Or Footpaths category anonymously at 20:41, Tue 1 October 2019

Sent to Hull City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1788820.

Can you please cut the overgrown tree from outside our fence. Our neighbour is complaining to us that their fence was broken because of the overhanging hedges but it is actually from the overgrown tree outside our fence. Is there any chance that you can cut it completely so we will not have a problem in the future. Thanks ever so much.

  • Someone came to trim the hedge and tree beside our property but our complain is not beside our property. The problem i complained was creeping ivy and small tree BEHIND our property( growing on a footpath behind our property that is creeping into our property and my neighbours property. My wife mentioned about the unresolved issue to a city council staff who visited the area but was told that it is not council responsibility. My question now is who’s responsible for maintaining public footpath? I hope this issue get resolve as it starts to affect our relationship with our neighbour.
