Grange Road: Defective/inadequate drainage causing dangerous water accumulation after heavy rain

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 16:53, Tue 1 October 2019

Sent to Leicestershire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1788505.

Since work commenced on the residential development site (north side of Grange Road), whenever there is heavy rainfall a dangerous amount of water accumulates across the east-bound carriageway causing east-bound traffic to cross on to the wrong side of the road. The water is deep and there is clearly inadequate and/or defective drainage (there is a 'lake' on the north side of the road). Hitting it at speed is an obvious potential accident risk. Photos attached taken today (1st October 2019).
