Works sign precariously left on uneven manhole cover obstructs entire pavement, falls over daily and is a worse trip hazard than the hole it is covering. It has been blocking the pavement for 2 weeks with no one coming to fix the problem.

This huge sign has been placed blocking the pavement over an uneven manhole cover which is waiting repair. The sign has been there for weeks and is a worse hazard than the hole it is covering. It is not possible to get past without walking over people's gardens. The heavy sign is poorly balanced and keeps falling over posing a risk to the public if it falls on them, and is a trip hazard wherever it lands - the massive fallen down sign covers the whole pavement! This footpath is a route to the primary school and very busy with children and parents with buggies at school drop times. It is also a route to the village and used throughout the day by people with shopping trolleys etc. Please remove the sign, and ideally fix the hole.
