Sent to Essex County Council 4 minutes later

I bought our house along Rawreth Lane last year it’s Approximately 3 years old. However, since we have moved in we started noticing the house shaking when certain vehicles drove past. This is mainly heavy lorries and farm vehicles. The House literally shakes even the garden if your laying on the grass. We believe due to the drain opposite our house that links to a sewage main that runs up Hooley Drive. My husband has taken photos and raised a ticket on the Essex County highways agency website, they came back the first time after 30 day saying it had been noted but due to a high level of fixes it cannot be worked on. We then raised it again adding some more urgency around it and stating that it was affecting our house and concerns over the property and foundations but again we got the same response.

The drain has sunk into the road by a fair amount which is causing the issue, the Drain needs to be levelled or removed and changed to a different drain type. We really need some support in getting this resolved and any help you can provide would be appreciated. This has now been raised with our local councillor James Newport.
